Welcome to another great Festive Friday Hop, our host is Terri Sproul - make sure to start by visiting Terri’s blog   http://www.terrisproul.blogspot.com
This Hop takes place every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month (except for December) – it’s a way to make our Christmas Cards early and come December we’ll be ready to share with all our friends and family.

This is my card for this week.   My last card I used rub-ons, this time I decided to go with stamps.  I got some new paints at CHA last week and decided to give them a try along with a couple of markers.  let me know what you think.  Now my camera works, but my cable doesn't so I had to use my son's camera and well the photos are not very good, but if I can borrow a camera at work later on, I will try and replace them, for now I hope these photos are clear enough.  I really liked this card, and I think I'm going to try stamping a little bit more in the future.

Well thank you for stopping by and make sure to stop at everyone’s blog to see all the great projects posted.  Next is Laura's blog, go see what great project she has done for all of us to enjoy!!!  http://www.lauraleesdream.blogspot.com

Giving, we all can do this.

So I decided to volunteer with Charity Wings for the summer CHA show in Chicago.  They were working to raise funds for A Place To Bark.  I love animals and I feel they should be treated with respect, they have feelings, I have two beautiful cats that are part of my family.  The way they cuddle up to you when you need some comfort, and yes I do talk to them, my kids thought I was becoming a crazy cat lady, but when they noticed how they understand, well they were very surprised. I've heard people talk about animals as if they have no feelings, as if they didn't matter, I say they do matter and they deserve to be loved and cared for.  I was glad to have been a part of this creative group of volunteers that work together to help other non-profit organizations help raise funds for different types of charity groups.

I have been creating different types of projects for over 12 years and had wanted for a long time to be able to do something in a creative way to help out.  I am glad to have found http://www.Charitywings.org/ .  This world would be a better place if we all gave a hand to help others in need every now and then.

This is my card for this week.  I really liked this cute little bear and decided to use him.  These are rub-on stickers.  I used Viva décor glitter pens in gold, red, and silver.  I used light blue velum for the background paper.  Added a “Seasons Greetings” at the bottom and it’s ready.  The inside is blank, with plenty of room to add a special message.
