Merry Christmas Plate

Image
First step was to hand draw the images I wanted to cut out from vinyl, 2nd I adhered the cut outs on the glass plate, make sure to press firm on the vinyl around all the edges, use the squeegee, you need to make sure all edges are secured, you don't want any of the etching cream to go under the vinyl for it will ruin your design, once the cream goes on the glass, you don't have time to fix the mistakes, this product works pretty fast, so take your time making sure the vinyl is properly secured. You need to mask any areas that might accidentally get some of the etching cream. The amount of etching cream you use determines the final etching result, I suggest you use a generous amount.  You need to wait 15 minutes for the etching process to take place, return as much of the etching cream back to its original container to be re-used again later on.  Rinse the rest of the etching cream from the plate, once rinsed, dry it out and remove the vinyl to exposed the etched desig

Cross- Stitching Not Needed!!! Book Marks

Image
I have to admit I wanted to do some cross stitching, but I'm the process of moving my 2 craft rooms into 1 room has been a long one, I thought that organizing the boxes by products would be a good idea, however I got too busy and neglected to label the boxes, so now I have no idea where I have my threads and needles , so I asked myself what would be the next best thing, I looked around and noticed I had all my Viva Decor Pearl and Glitter pens on hand. This is was so much fun and supper easy, I made several fabric book marks that I had purchased at a garage sale, they already had the lace and pretty flower detail, so it was just a matter of adding something pretty to the fabric.  I took out my Pearl Pens and Glitter Liners from Viva Decor and got busy.  Below are photos of the book marks I finished, I still have some more to make, but for now these will do.  I want to do the stitch work on the others and add some beads and some more Viva Decor paints.
